Baptism

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. Mt 28:19-20

“Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.  Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: ‘Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water and in the word.’” The Catechism of the Catholic Church

Parents preparing to celebrate the baptism of their child are encouraged to attend class prior to the birth of that child so that they can better prepare for his/her baptism. Please call the office at 405-366-7676 to pre-register or click here for more information regarding the baptism of your child.

Adult Baptism preparation is conducted through the RCIA program.
